Community Engagement

Volunteering in Cornwall

Come and join us…

We welcome all people to come together, learn, explore, grow, and to connect to each other and nature.

We are so grateful to be supported by the community, for the community, as we strive to be as accessible and inclusive as possible wherever you may find us - we have sites at Cardinham Woods, near Bodmin, and another called Higher Wheal Martyn, near St Austell (adjacent to the Wheal Martyn Clay Works).

Support so far has included wonderful volunteers, local groups and charities who have donated their time, skills and expertise to help us maintain and develop our sites, provision and programmes.

As a CIC we are continuously working to find funding for our project. This includes filling out applications for grants, contacting local businesses, charities and private fundraising events.

Our beautiful space takes a lot of maintenance and development. If you have the time and enjoy being outside, why not come along to one of our volunteer days?

We normally focus on one project but if you have specific skills you’d like to use we are open to new ideas!

Everyone is welcome no matter what age of ability. Bring the whole family - It‘s fun!

Fundraising is the reason we are able to provide the courses and support that we do. Behind the scenes we are busy working away applying for funding grants and working with local businesses and charities to provide the money we need to keep, what we consider to be our essential courses either free or subsidised.

Make it stand out.

We appreciate your help and support.

Please contact us if you would like to join any of our volunteer groups or discuss any way in which you think you can help us develop and grow.
